The 35th Qingdao International Beer Festival is now in full swing at Golden Beach Beer City, transforming the coastal venue into a vibrant global celebration.
People from around the world raise their glasses together, soaking in the electric atmosphere filled with cultural performances, sporting events, and immersive attractions like the "Beer Stock Exchange". With over 2,300 beer varieties from across the globe served across various pavilions, craft breweries, and beachfront bars, the festival strikes a perfect balance between tradition and innovation.
This year, the festival has seen a surge in international attendance, reflecting the growing momentum of Qingdao's inbound tourism. From Ghana to Russia, guests are not only enjoying brews but also taking the spotlight—like Russian performer Sergey, whose dazzling neon-lit juggling act drew cheers from the crowd. The launch of SCO Week on July 25 added even more global flavor, with vibrant markets, folk dances, and cultural showcases from SCO member nations.
Interactive highlights such as the dynamic Beer Stock Exchange—where drink prices rise and fall in real time—and a scenic, music-filled bus offer novel ways to join the celebration. With original concerts, operas, and citywide contests adding to the excitement, the festival heads into its second half brimming with summer energy and unforgettable moments.
